CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga, Nov.20 (PIA) -- Terminal fee for both domestic and international flights at the Clark International Airport (CRK) will be included in the plane fare starting January 1, 2021.
In a statement, CRK private operator Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corporation (LIPAD) said this is meant to provide more convenience to the flying public.
"The integration of the terminal fee has been one of our priority projects here in CRK. It is our pleasure to see this into fruition and to make our passengers' journey as hassle-free and seamless as possible," LIPAD Chief Executive Officer Bi Yong Chungunco explained.
About 17 airlines already signed a Memorandum of Agreement with LIPAD to commence the transition to terminal fee integration. "All passengers who will purchase their tickets beginning January 1, 2021 no longer have to pay for their terminal fee at the airport," she said.
However, passengers who bought their tickets prior to the effectivity date may proceed to the payment counters located inside the terminal.
She also reminded that terminal Fee exemptions still apply to select individuals, particularly to infants below 2 years old for both domestic and international flights, and Overseas Filipino Workers for international flights. (CLJD/MJSC-PIA 3)
