Fairfield, CT (Merxwire) - The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum, an outdoor adventure park in Bridgeport, CT. There are zipline and ropes courses in the park, and new axe-throwing has recently been added. The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum expects outdoor activities participants to enjoy more Many wonderful experiences.
Axe-throwing activity has set up three channels, each of which takes into account the social distancing agreement, and has a 60-minute rental lane, each lane can accommodate up to 5 participants. An axe-throwing coach can start group training and provide help and skills. Participants must be 12 years or older, participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
"We're so excited to offer this new outdoor activity for our guests," said Candie Fisher, VP of Sales and Marketing for The Adventure Park. "Axe throwing has grown tremendously in popularity over the past few years, but most axe-throwing venues are indoors. We wanted to bring this unique activity to the outdoors, where people can easily social distance and be in the fresh air. In addition, fall is a beautiful time of year to be outside in the trees."
The Adventure Park is offering free outdoor axe throwing in 30 minute increments on Sunday, October 4 to provide guests with a preview of the axe throwing experience. УТ After a safety briefing, participants will have the opportunity to try out their throwing skills. УТ Lane availability is first come first serve, and briefings will run every 30 minutes.
In addition to axe throwing, The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum has long been a popular Fairfield County attraction with their aerial adventure experience of ziplining and climbing for adults and children. Axe throwing was added to the Park's offering in September. Advance reservations are recommended for all activities at The Adventure Park.

The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum is a five-acre, self-guided tree-to-tree climbing adventure in Bridgeport, CT adjacent to, and in partnership with, The Discovery Museum. With roughly 180 treetop platforms connected by bridges, ladders, 23 ziplines and other crossings, the aerial adventure park has 13 trails that are color-coded like ski trails for all abilities and are designed for self-discovery. Ideal for all adults and children 5+ at any fitness level, participants go at their own pace for a fun, exciting, and self-guided adventure, the perfect combination of challenge and fun. After an initial safety briefing and practice session, participants choose their own adventure. Helpful staff is always at hand and available for questions and assistance.
