Pakistani couple held for torturing domestic help

A couple in Lahore has been arrested for torturing their nine-year-old domestic help, who was found with a swollen face and shivering in the cold.

The couple living in Sanpura area tortured the child who was working as a domestic helper for them, Geo News reported Monday.

The couple was arrested and the child was sent to hospital.

Local residents found Waseem standing at the roadside, shivering with cold and pain. On being asked, he said that he hailed from Larkana.
